Match Play Begins

 Match Play Championship

Date: June 7^th

Time: Matches must be played within a two-week period at a mutually agreeable time between each player in the match or both players are out.

Divisions: This season we will have a Men's 18 Hole (Blue), Men's 9 Hole (White) and Women's 9 Hole (Green), Team Match 18 Hole (Blue Men) Green (Women) brackets.

Format: MATCH PLAY

The first 32 players to sign-up will be seeded based on handicap index in four flights. Matches will be contested over 9/18 holes using 80% of each player's course handicap with strokes allocated off the low ball in the match. First round matches will commence on June 18^th. The Match Play final will take place by the weekend of August 18^th. The winner of the final match will be crowned as the Overall Weekapaug Golf Club Match Play Champion. 

Round 1: June 7^th – June 21^st

Round 2: June 22^nd – July 5^th

Round 3: July 6^th – July 19^th

Round 4: July 20^th – August 2^nd

Championship Round: August 3^th – August 17^th
